I am Marie-Ketty BORDIN, originally from Marie-Galante. Passionate about cooking since I was young, I decided to go in this direction. In 1987 I obtained my CAP in cooking. For more than 20 years, I have been cooking in several establishments in the so-called Creole and gastronomic cuisine. I enjoy combining the flavours of the West Indies and elsewhere in a refined style in various restaurants. For two years, I took the time to reflect on my Creole garden. From that moment on, I wanted to work on my own culinary project.
My first culinary creations were inspired by the cakes I used to make when I was 8 years old. My little Creole shortbreads were born and with my basket I decided to let as many people as possible taste and discover them. The feedback was very encouraging, people really appreciated the mix of fruity and spicy flavours used. Based on this success, I created my company in 2018.
I started with coconut-flavoured shortbread and very quickly expanded the range with other flavours: Maracudja, pineapple and ginger. Then, the range gradually expanded with seasonal fruits (redcurrant, apricot, cinnamon, guava, etc.), jams and plantain chips. I try to make natural biscuits without eggs or milk.
