le mot d'Arawak Market
You are certainly aware that Guadeloupe is a banana producing country. But as crazy as it may sound, did you know that you can find imported plantain chips on the supermarket shelves...?
Marie-Ketty Bordin, an agro-processor in love with her native island, wanted to remedy this problem. That's how I, a pretty packet of crispy plantain chips, was born. A 100% local handmade product, I am phenomenal. I'm one of those crisps that will have you salivating once you taste them.
My crispy slices are remarkably thin. My salting is perfect. Once you've eaten me, you won't find a trace of fat on your fingers, as the salt and frying are masterfully controlled.
To finish my presentation, I would like to give you a friendly warning: you will have gobbled me up as soon as I was opened. So I suggest you pack a decent amount of packages in your basket.
TASTING TIP:
Munch on me at cocktail hour, with your family or friends. Arrange me in a pretty calabash or wooden bowl alongside your homemade cocktails. You're sure to have a great time with an exquisite product.
