They call me 'Rhum Vieux Première Cuvée'. I'm a Rhum Vieux Agricole from Guadeloupe, made with passion and patience at the heart of the REIMONENQ distillery in Sainte-Rose.

During my 3-year stay in oak casks, my colour gradually darkens as it interacts with the wood, until it reaches its brownish hue.  I naturally age in tropical temperatures and high humidity, which allow me to improve more quickly. It is only at the end of these three years of ageing that the designation 'Old Rum' can be awarded to me.

From this exchange with the wood, I acquire my deliciously woody-spicy aromatic profile and my superb mahogany colour. My home, the REIMONENQ distillery, has recently come up with some wonderful new products, of which I am certainly the proof!
