I am an enigmatic metal box! If I tell you: love torment, fishermen's families, descendants of light-eyed Bretons... What do you think?

Natives or adventurous tourists will know that I am referring to the Saintes, those small islands located 10 km from the island of Guadeloupe.
I know this piece of land well, because it is there that my creator, Pascal Foy, imagined me! Pascal Foy is an artist and sculptor, originally from Saint Martin, who enjoys telling the story of Creole kaz (typical houses) by creating facades in raw or painted wood. Take a close look at his work which envelops me. You will see the typical charm of yesteryear and the beauty of wood aged by time. 

Touch me and you will feel the warmth of the sun along my grooves. Smell the sea air around you and feel the breeze from the Caribbean Sea caress your face. Have fun diving behind my blue shutter. You might spot a figure cooking or a canary simmering.  
With me, a whole setting comes to life before your eyes and a story you can dream about. This simple metal box, which I seem to be, has the power to transport you to a far away corner of paradise.

Advice for use 
My rectangular shape makes me practical. Store me in your cupboards with ease or leave me in plain sight as I add an original decorative touch to your home. My glossy finish and golden interior invite you to slip in little brown treasures or precious powder. Have you guessed what I'm talking about? Coffee beans or ground coffee from Guadeloupe, grown in an artisanal way, of course! You will find them a little further on in the shop.
