BABATITUDE

My husband Nicolas LÉON has been a pastry chef for several years. We lived in mainland France for 24 years as a pastry chef and chocolatier in the Sarthe region. We fell in love with Guadeloupe during one of our trips.

For several years, we had dreamed of arriving in this little corner of paradise. We have no regrets about our choice. We set up our company over a year ago. Every day, we put our tapestry skills to work by including Guadeloupe's great heritage around rum and its distilleries.

Through our Babas, we also want to showcase Guadeloupe's terroir. Indeed, it's important for us to use products from the sugar industry in our preparations. To use fruit from local fruit growers, so that our treats reflect all the character of the beautiful island of Guadeloupe.
