RHUM LONGUETEAU
From 1895 onwards, Henri Longueteau transformed the old sugar refinery to produce "z'habitant" rum, the direct result of distilling sugarcane juice. Now known as rhum agricole, it is appreciated by connoisseurs the world over. Since then, four generations have succeeded one another on the estate, nurturing a love of the land and a job well done with the following values: quality, passion and tradition.
Today, the Longueteau distillery is the only distillery in Guadeloupe 100% self-sufficient in sugar cane. Most of the sugar cane comes from the estate's own plantations, located at the foot of the Soufrière massif. The agricultural rums produced in this way enable us to develop a collection of the highest quality, which each year wins prizes in national and international competitions such as those held in Paris and Belgium. Longueteau rums are among the most prestigious in the French West Indies.
