NASSY DOUCEUR
I'm from Guadeloupe, my name is Nassiéra, and I'm originally from the commune of Saint-François. As part of a professional retraining program, I've chosen to process Guadeloupe's fruit and vegetables into confectionery, pastries, flour and other products. My aim is to add value to these products, which we West Indians don't really appreciate.
I make flours from vegetables and tubers, without preservatives or additives. These 100% agricultural flours are characterized by a very fine powder and are made by hand. They are gluten-free and intended for allergy sufferers.
In order to achieve my goal, I had to follow a training course to obtain my diploma in "Valorisation du Patrimoine Culinaire Créole en Transformation Agro Alimentaire" (training recognized by the "Confrérie de la chaîne des rôtisseurs" of Guadeloupe, which brings together professionals and amateurs dedicated to preserving local culinary traditions). I then obtained a Brevet professionnel Agricole-Transformation Alimentaire. The latter allows me to be a production operator, so I have the skills to transform agricultural products: I created my brand of agro-processed products in 2018 under the name "Nassy Douceurs".
My job requires rigor, stamina and high standards for the quality of the products I process. I work in collaboration with Guadeloupe producers to obtain the best quality fruit and vegetables, while promoting sustainable agriculture and fair trade. I put my artisanal know-how at the service of as many people as possible to help you discover new tastes, but above all new ways of using these products.
